A volunteer is sought to assume complete editorial control of the Club’s quarterly Newsletter from the end of 2011, soliciting content, selecting that which is most appropriate, liaising with our proof-reader and interfacing directly with the graphics designer who takes care of layout. If this challenge is of genuine interest to you, please contact the Club Secretary via the AAC(UK) Office for further details.

This compact, plastic covered guide-book is a very good aid to selecting walking routes all over Corsica. We used it at Calvi and later from Corte and Porto, it has 127 inspiring colour photos, 56 walking maps at 1:50,000 and 1:75,000 and 3 overview maps. There are easy, medium and longer, more grueling suggestions. ft took us to a beautiful headland, Capu Rossu, a long winding, scenic gorge, Tavignano, high lakes and peaks, Lacs Melo and Capitello and a series of cataracts, Cascades des Anglais. It was really useful. As always, local maps are advised too.
